Among them, the technique of "magical realism" is noteworthy. It refers to a type of narrative realism which, on one hand, resembles a realistic story and, on the other hand, is excluded from the realm of realism by the extraordinary events that occur. Therefore, magical realism is a realistic narrative which occurs in magic patterns. Rabie Jaber, a Lebanese contemporary novelist, is among the most famous writers in the Arabic literature who uses this technique widely in his stories. The novel <em>Mehlis Report</em> narrates Lebanon Civil War and its social, political and psychological roots. One of his most prominent works is in the field of magical realism. In this study, after the concept of magical realism is defined, an analytical method is used to analyze the novel <em>Mehlis Report </em>by Rabie Jaber based on fictional elements. Then, the effects of these elements on the form and content of the novel are specifie. The research results indicate that, in this novel, Jaber has used diverse procedures and techniques such as magical phenomena, magnification of reality, unjustifiability of some events, dead narrators, creation of alternative and irrational worlds, authorial reticence, and expressionist descriptions. These elements are used to reveal the bitter aspects of social life. گونه­های داستان­نویسی نوین در غرب، در ادبیات داستانی امروز عربی نمود چشمگیری داشته است. از جملة آن­ها، «رئالیسم جادویی» است. رئالیسم جادویی بر گونه­ای از روایت رئالیستی اطلاق می­گردد که از یک سو به یک داستان واقع­گرا شباهت دارد؛ از سویی دیگر، وقوع رویدادهایی شگفت، اثر را از گسترة واقع­گرایی خارج می­سازد. بنابراین، رئالیسم جادویی، روایتی واقع­گراست که در بافتی سحرآمیز و جادویی رخ می­دهد. ربیع جابر، رمان­نویس معاصر لبنانی، از معروف­ترین نویسندگان ادبیات عربی است که این نوع داستانی در آثارش تأثیر فراوان داشته است. رمان تقریر میلیس که به روایت جنگ داخلی لبنان و ریشه­های اجتماعی، سیاسی و روانی آن می­پردازد؛ یکی از شاخص­ترین آثار داستانی ربیع جابر در حوزة رئالیسم جادویی است. در این پژوهش، پس از تعریف و تبیین مفاهیم رئالیسم جادویی، رمان «تقریر میلیس» ربیع جابر با روش توصیفی-تحلیلی، بر اساس مؤلفه­های این گونة داستانی تحلیل گردیده و تأثیر این شگردها بر فرم و محتوای رمان مشخص شده است. نتایج به دست آمده از تحقیق حاکی از آن است که جابر در این رمان از تمهیدها و تکنیک­های گوناگونی چون بزرگ‌نمایی واقعیت، دهشت و توجیه­ناپذیری برخی وقایع، راوی­های مرده، آفرینش جهان­های بدیل و غیر‌عقلانی، خموشی نویسنده و توصیفات اکسپرسیونیستی در آفرینش اثر خود بهره گرفته است تا تلخ‌ترین زوایای حیات اجتماعی را برای خواننده نمایان سازد. https://mcal.yazd.ac.ir/article_1285_aad6ffed6141a2f9709515eed866cbe3.pdf
