Abstract

Introduction:The first and most important and serious platform that enables human communication with the outside world is the family environment. environment with dual function; Because while being able to meet the cognitive and emotional needs of a person, it can suppress these needs and hinder the psychological and social development of a person and expose him to all kinds of psychological and mental disorders and mental disturbance.

The main character of Seyyadat al-Qamar Abdullah is one of the fictional characters that grew and developed in such an inappropriate environment. The creator of this character has tried to show the role of his father's ineffective and vain upbringing style in the formation of his mind's incompatible schemas. The skill of the author of the mentioned work in portraying this issue reveals the necessity of conducting research with a psychological approach; Therefore, in this thesis, with such an approach and according to the two theories of "parenting styles" of Diana Baumrind and "schema therapy" of Jeffrey Young, the influence of the father's parenting style on the formation of Abdullah's maladaptive schemas is investigated. Regarding the reason for choosing these two theories from dozens of psychological theories, it should be said that the aforementioned theories share the same opinion that the first experiences of a person are the background of the quality of his future life, and this principle is in line with the style of the author of the mentioned novel. With numerous flashbacks to the past, in a way, the experiences of that time and especially the father's upbringing method are considered to be the cause of Abdullah's mental disturbances in adulthood.

Methodology OF research: use this research descriptive-analytical method

Result: Abdullah's internal quotation which is seen in the first person narrator's parts, tells about the father's autocratic style, which is manifested in the form of two parameters: the low response component and the high demand component.

The low level of responsiveness of the businessman Suleiman, which is one of the requirements of his autocratic style and manifested in the form of leaving unanswered the need for intimacy and love of the child, as well as the need to accept and receive the respect of others, respectively, led to the formation of the schema of deprivation. Abdallah has become emotional, flawed and ashamed.

The high level of expectations of the businessman Suleiman, which led to excessive control of the child and manifested itself in the form of three aspects: not recognizing the child's independence and self-willed , depriving him of the opportunity to satisfy his childish desires and request and punishing him in case of violation of the rules and laws, forced Abdullah to turn He has obeyed the scheme, and the internalization of other people's behavior has also played a significant and important role in the emergence of this scheme.

Schematic reflection of emotional deprivation in Abdullah's mind: the institutionalization of the feeling of loneliness and the feeling of soleness within him, the failure to meet his need for a safe environment free from any harm and damage, and as a result, the loss of peace and safty and the constant feeling of fear and worry, seeking refuge in other people for Gaining lost love and attention and care.

The consequence of the schematic presence of defects and fault and shame in Abdullah's existence: loss of self-esteem and sense of worth, comparing oneself with others, strengthening the feeling of being unworthy and finally feeling unworthy and unbecoming to receive love and have a happy life.

Schematic manifestation of obedience in Abdullah's thought: simultaneous suppression of emotional desires and emotional demand and responses and loss of the right to freedom to express desires and demand and express inner emotions

In the end, what helped to stabilize these schemas are the two mechanisms of harmful life patterns and bad life patterns and cognitive distortions.

which has prevented him from exiting the plan of emotional deprivation, defect and fault and shame respectively.

Conclusion: The results of this research, which was carried out in a descriptive-analytical method, Result: are as follows The low responsiveness component of businessman Suleiman, which is one of the requirements of his autocratic style and manifested in the form of not fulfilling the need for love and acceptance of the child, has led to the discovery of two schemas of emotional deprivation and the schema of deficiency in Abdullah. The high level of the demand component of his autocratic parenting style, which has been manifested in countless controls, has institutionalized the obedience scheme in Abdullah. The consequence of the presence of these schemas in his mind is feeling alone, reducing self-esteem and suppressing emotional tendencies and responses. In the end, what helped to stabilize these schemas are the two mechanisms of harmful life patterns and cognitive distortions.
